Band is a place for students to get together to play awesome music! Students always have a choice in what music we play. The band plays classical, jazz, and even some popular music. We aim to have 2 concerts per year and, hopefully, other small performances during the year. If you play an instrument and want to further your musical development, you should join band.

Course Credit

High school students get 1/2 arts credit for one year of band. Students who have fulfilled all of their arts credits can get elective credit for participating in band. Credits apply in the same manner for 8th grade students participating in high school band (participation is dependent on individual skill level). Middle school band is not credit-bearing.
