Ada Allen Awarded 2nd Place in Vermont History Day Competition

We’re proud to announce that Craftsbury 7th grade student Ada Allen participated in Vermont Historical Society’s Vermont History Day held Saturday, April 8, and was awarded second place by the Vermont State Archives for excellence in primary source use. Ada’s exhibit was on “Women Making Change on Vermont’s Gender Frontier”. Vermont History Day is an annual educational competition for middle and high school aged students to present their work and earn a chance to compete at the National History Day competition. Over 230 students from around the state competed at this year’s event held at UVM’s Davis Center in Burlington.

Congratulations, Ada!
