Craftsbury Community:

I am excited to begin the 2024-2025 school year as principal of the Craftsbury Schools! I have been warmly welcomed and look forward to immersing myself in the school community. I have a Master’s Degree in Education and have worked in public education since 2000 in many roles. I am excited to bring my collaborative and distributive leadership style to the Craftsbury Schools to support students, teachers, families, and community members in creating a vibrant and robust learning community. 

I was born and raised in central Vermont and now enjoy watching my own children grow up here. When not at school, I enjoy spending time with my animals (horses and three dogs), as well as taking advantage of the outdoors. Hiking, skiing, and spending time on the water are a few of the activities I enjoy

Craftsbury is located in a unique and special part of Vermont. As a school, we hold high standards of rigor for all students and provide diverse learning opportunities for students preK-12 to achieve in all areas. Our flexible pathways options allow students at the high school level to explore opportunities outside the walls of the traditional classroom to best meet their unique learning interests and needs. We pride ourselves in our ability to truly know each and every student and it is our mission to ensure that all students in our school are able to demonstrate growth in academic and social/emotional areas. All students who enter our doors are welcomed and appreciated for the unique qualities they bring to our learning community. As a school community, we deeply value family and community engagement.

As we head into this school year we will look to further develop our connections with our community partners to support us in providing rich learning opportunities. We look forward to an amazing 2024-2025 school year!
