The Senior Capstone is a culminating project which enables students to demonstrate proficiency of the skills they have developed as a result of their K-12 education. These skills align with the Vermont transferable skills and the Craftsbury Board ends, found in The Portrait of the Craftsbury Graduate.

The Capstone enables students to design and conduct a personally meaningful research project of their own choosing while developing connections between the larger community and the school. As a result of extensive fieldwork, research and planning, students will write a formal research paper, and present their results to the community.
